Information Collection and Storage
Local Database
All business data (customer details, inventory, invoices, sales orders, ledger data) is stored locally on your physical machine in a SQLite database file (database.zi). We do not collect, transmit, or store this data on our servers.
User Accounts & Credentials
Login credentials used to secure your local application are stored and verified locally. "Remember Password" details are saved securely on your local system using native operating system settings.
Google Drive Integration
Purpose: Zilo System includes an optional backup feature allowing you to sync and upload your database file directly to your personal Google Drive storage to prevent data loss.
Permissions Requested:
When you authorize the connection, we request the following Google OAuth scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.fileAllows us to create, read, and update files in your Google Drive that were created by this application.emailUsed solely to retrieve your Google account email to display connection status inside the application.
Storage Folder: All database backups are uploaded to a dedicated folder named `Zilo System Backups` in the root of your Google Drive.
Data Sharing: We do not collect, view, copy, or share your database backups or Google Account information. The transfer of your database file occurs directly and securely between your local machine and Google's servers.
Product Activation & Authenticity
Zilo System is absolutely free-to-use software. We do not charge fees for licensing or using the software. A Product Key is provided to the user free of charge, which is required solely to keep the application's authenticity and ensure its integrity. No personal tracking or payment details are collected or linked to your Product Key.
Data Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the physical security of your machine.
- You are responsible for ensuring that unauthorized users do not have access to your local SQLite database file.
- We recommend enabling Google Drive Backup to maintain safe, offsite copies of your database.
