Terms of Service

Welcome to Zilo System. Please review the Terms of Service below. By installing, activating, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these policies.

Section 1

License Grant and Restrictions

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Zilo System desktop billing application ("Software") on your devices.

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Software.
  • Distribute, rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the Software to any third party.
Section 2

Licensing & Product Keys

  • Absolutely Free to Use: Zilo System is completely free-to-use software.
  • Product Key: A Product Key is issued to users free of charge. This key is required solely to authenticate the Software's authenticity and ensure its integrity.
Section 3

Local-First Architecture & Data Ownership

  • Local Storage: Zilo System is a local-first application. All data, files, and credentials remain entirely on your physical machine. We do not host, store, or have access to any of your data.
  • Data Integrity: Because all data is stored locally, you are entirely responsible for backing up your business data. We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or hardware failure resulting in loss of database files.
Section 4

Google Drive Backup Service

  • The Software provides an option to sync and copy database files to your Google Drive.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your Google account has adequate storage and remains active.
  • We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, Google's services, policies, or uptime.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT ACCESS TO IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
